Raden soleh lahir pada tahun 1510M “931” di Mataram dan setelah beranjak dewasa beliau berangkat mengaji agama islam di Demak bintoro dan juga pondok pesantren di jawa timur dan setelah selesai mengaji di didik ilmu pemerintahan dan di beri daerah sebelah barat sungai kaliprogo sebelah timur sungai serayu sebelah utara gunung dieng wates seganten.

Dan di sinilah beliau mendirikan masjid untuk semua orang yang ingin belajar ilmu agama islam di SENTUL beliau tidak lama karena mendengar suara GAAMELAN yang terlalu keras sehingga mengganggu para santri dalam belajar agama ISLAM maka sampai saat ini di desa KEDUNG AMBA tidak boleh membunyikan GAMELAN.

Sebelumnya Ki Ageng Giring telah menawarkan tanah antara timur sungai Praga sampai Sitandu , namun Mangkurat Mas menolak . Karena merupakan hadiah tanah dari sultan Kedungamba disebut tanah Keputihan setiap tahun tidak kena pajak ke Mataram , tetapi hanya menyetorkan bulu bekti atau glondhong pengareng - bentuk pengareng beras , kacang-kacangan , dll saja setiap tahun selama musim panen ke Mataram sado jarit wiru gaun dan blangkon . Selanjutnya beliau juga menyebarkan agama islam di PRIAYANGAN atau BANDUNG di rumah PAMAN beliau yaitu Syeh Abdul Muhyi dan mengikuti TAREKOH di dalam GUA saparwandi di PEMIJAHAN tasik malaya JAWA BARAT.

Di Kebumen , di mana Syaikh Abdul Awwal huni adalah di dusun Kedungamba , Desa Beningsari Grogol . Tapi setelah ini diambil oleh daerah termasuk desa Kebonsari Belanda .
